General Chemistry Lecture I - 29442 - CHEM 1311 - 004
This is a FACE-TO-FACE course that meets on campus at the designated times. A webcam and an appropriate computer that will run the Lockdown Browser software may be required for testing.
If the degree plan requires a lab component, the student needs to enroll in CHEM-1111 (Gen Chem I lab) as well. Completion of CHEM-1311 and CHEM-1111 is equivalent to CHEM-1411. A student cannot get credit for both CHEM-1305 and CHEM-1311 as part of a degree plan.
This is a MATH-intensive course and is designed for Science majors. Non-science majors should sign-up for CHEM-1305. Successful completion (grade of "C" or better) of MATH-1414 (College Algebra-Science track) or MATH-1314 is required.

THIS IS A FLEX I INTERNET COURSE. The class dates are 01/16 - 03/09. All lectures or learning materials and resources will be provided within the modules of the course. This course will require a web camera and computer that are compatible with the Lockdown Browser software.
If the degree plan requires a lab component, the student needs to enroll in CHEM-1111 (Gen Chem I lab) as well. Completion of CHEM-1311 and CHEM-1111 is equivalent to CHEM-1411. General Chemistry Lecture I - 14640 - CHEM 1311 - 007
This course will be taught using a REMOTE LEARNING format using ZOOM at the specified times and days. You will NOT be required to attend on campus. A webcam and an appropriate computer that will run the Lockdown Browser software are required.
This course does not require the purchase of a textbook. A link to a free e-book will be provided. If the degree plan requires a lab component, the student needs to enroll in CHEM-1111 (Gen Chem I lab) as well. Completion of CHEM-1311 and CHEM-1111 is equivalent to CHEM-1411.
